The Office Jerk: delete your data
The game keeps very little about you (see the privacy policy). There's no sign-up, email or password. Here's how to delete what there is.
Your leaderboard entry
If your career is on the leaderboards, we keep its generated name (like "Sneaky Stapler 42"), your character's look and your scores.
In the game: open the menu (top-left), then Settings → Leave the leaderboards. Your name and scores are deleted from our server straight away. Your career carries on, off the boards.
Starting a new career (Settings → Start a new career) also deletes your old career from the leaderboards.
Can't use the game? (you've removed it, or lost your phone) Email privacy [at] dzk.com.au with your leaderboard name and roughly when you last played. We'll delete it within 30 days and let you know.
Your saved game
Your career save lives only on your device; we never see it. Delete it with Settings → Start a new career, by clearing the app's or site's data, or by removing the app.
What's deleted, and what's kept
- Deleted: your leaderboard name, look, scores and any workday in progress.
- Kept: nothing that identifies you. The scrambled network address used to limit sign-ups is deleted after a day anyway. Ads are handled by Google; reset your advertising ID in your phone's settings.
